Adam
Barron believes everyone can benefit from the knowledge and expertise
of a trainer, and he realizes the hardest part of training for most
individuals is the initial step of asking a professional for help. Adam
prides himself on being both knowledgeable and approachable. Adam has
coached athletes at a variety of competitive levels training speed,
agility, strength, and sport-specific skills. He utilizes resistance
training along with specialized equipment such as ladders, medicine
balls, balance discs, stabilization balls, and resistive speed tools
such as parachutes and harnesses to creatively enhance performance.

Lora Lee is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). Lora has competed in two fitness competitions; the 1995 Gold's Classic and the 1996 NW Natural. Lora is a native Oregonian. Lora believes in total fitness or wellness by definition, reaching an optimal quality of life that includes physical, mental, and spiritual components. An individual can improve their quality of life through a program that is all inclusive of nutrition counseling, cardiovascular exercise, corrective exercise, resistance training, and supplementation. Lora can design a program specifically for your individual lifestyle, she is highly enthusiastic and passionate about empowering individuals to achieve goals, particularly goals that one may have never believed possible to achieve. Lora simplifies the process of getting fit and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. She believes that customizing a program that will allow an individual to reach his or her goals are crucial, furthermore the journey of learning and applying the components of fitness should be enjoyable!

David Walker Clapp Nearly 30-years of fitness experience confirms David's passion for helping clients achieve their fitness goals. A graduate of Manhattan College with Degrees in Exercise Physiology and Athletic Training, David uses his education and extensive experience to guide his clients toward achievable and measurable results. While everyone is looking for a secret method or a shortcut to results, David's clients will tell you, 'when you work with David, you're going to work hard.' Work hard but always be safe. As a physical therapy intern, David developed his passion for exercise while learning therapeutic exercises for injured patients. "90% of the injuries we treated were the result of poor flexibility." Stretching, full range of motion exercises and training within controllable limits are all part of David's program designs The

Kelly Bylsma: Kelly has enjoyed over 25 years in the fitness industry providing a personal approach to clients of all ages and fitness levels. Kelly holds a fitness professional certification through the American Council of Exercise (ACE). She listens closely to her client's needs, concerns and objectives to customize a program that is effective, fun and rewarding. Her style helps clients feel comfortable about their personal fitness level and strives to help them achieve the goals they aspire to. Incorporating the key components to her clients training programs has resulted in improved fitness, higher energy levels and a more enjoyable quality of life. Kelly has enjoyed teaching and participating in a wide variety of fitness activities including; Yoga, Weight Training, Cycling, Cardio Kick Boxing, Aerobic Dance, Speed Walking, Gymnastics, Senior Fitness and more. Kelly is a proud mother of two great kids and a 22 year resident of Lake Oswego.

Melissa Dennis: Melissa holds a fitness professional certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Growing up as a competitive gymnast and coaching the sport for five years has given Melissa a background in muscle development as well as flexibility and balance training. These tools help her to train clients to gain stability strength and flexibility while reaching their fitness goals. Melissa enjoys "spicing up" a workout by using a variety of tools and techniques so that working out can be fun yet challenging. She specializes in working with goals such as weight loss, muscle and strength gain, endurance training, and general fitness training. Melissa also is dedicated to help clients achieve a healthy, balanced lifestyle to become their personal best.

Eric Zimmer holds a B.S. degree as a Health and Fitness Specialist and has been Personal Trainer certified since 1993. He has added to his credentials by becoming certified as a Clinical Exercise Specialist through the American Council on Exercise and as a Pilates instructor through the acclaimed Stott Pilates program. Eric's style of training has been described as attentive and friendly. He specializes in injury prevention, rehabilitation as well as client education. His programs emphasize safety, posture, technique and body awareness. Eric's training philosophy is rooted in consistency and moderation, the hallmarks of a healthy and productive life. The effects of Eric's training are apparent both at the gym and in activities of daily living.

Fil Pearl has 30 years of personal training experience, and a family history of world class fitness excellence, Fil has knowledge and practical understanding of how to help individuals reach their fitness goals. Whether working with a professional golfer, busy corporate executive, or fitness minded individuals, Fil knows how to help people achieve their fitness goals. His career draws upon a broad base of development including managing health clubs in Southern California, working as a fitness consultant on Portland, Oregon's local morning show, A.M. Northwest, and his various magazine articles written on fitness training. He has also utilized the vast knowledge of his father, four-time Mr. Universe, Bill Pearl; Author of The Encyclopedia of Weight Training and Getting Stronger. He has worked with PGA tour Professionals and top golf amateurs in the state of Oregon. Fil can help you elevate your physical potential to optimize your golf performance. Fil has a Master Trainers certificate and now specializes in workshops and seminars on sport specific exercise as well as individual fitness training.

Linsay Berg has a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science and is a Certified Health and Fitness Instructor through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). She enjoys helping individuals reach their goals and maintain a healthy lifestyle through her knowledge and experience. She believes that exercise is the cure to many physical and psychological barriers. Linsay wants her clients to have fun and enjoy exercising while utilizing a variety of equipment (medicine balls, stability balls, bands, etc.). She will design an exercise program based on individual goals and capabilities to have an effective workout.

Danita Chandler Born and raised in Portland, Danita is the owner and a teacher at Portland Pilates Studio. She completed the Core Dynamics Pilates certification program lead by Michele Larsson and has been teaching since 1999. Competitive swimming through college, playing competitive water polo and racing downhill skiing have given Danita a solid athletic base to support her Pilates work. After having her children she studied Vinyasa yoga and dance which lead her into the Pilates work. "Through Pilates I have found the greatest understanding and awareness to my body, which has made me a healthier person inside and out. I wish I had had this information while I was young and so athletic. My goal is to share this with as many people as possible, making a difference in the world by creating a positive influence through positive, conscious movement." PMA Certified

Lila Ojeda Lila is the owner and operator of LO Solutions and strives to help her clients overcome barriers to achieve and maintain their nutrition, health and fitness goals. Lila is a Registered Dietitian with 7 years of experience working at OHSU in nutrition research. Lila offers Complete Nutrition Services, Pilates classes , and Personal Training (specializing in core development and overall toning). Specialty areas include: weight loss/management, healthy eating, body fat loss/toning, sports nutrition, vegetarian eating, cholesterol and triglycerides reduction, diabetic and blood sugar control, anti-inflammatory eating, and more. Lila strongly believes that proper nutrition is the foundation to a healthy, happy, long life and the only true way to see lasting results. She takes a very personalized approach to nutrition, Pilates and personal training and will go above and beyond to help you make permanent changes.
